Google API Data Usage Disclosure

Home / Legal / Google API Data Usage Disclosure

Last updated: January 9, 2026

ExeLoop CRM integrates with Google APIs (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts) to provide email and calendar features. This page discloses how we use Google user data, in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Scopes we request

When you connect your Google account, ExeLoop requests the minimum scopes needed to operate the integration:

  • gmail.send — to send emails on your behalf from the address you authorized.
  • gmail.readonly — to fetch replies to those emails so they appear in your unified inbox.
  • calendar.events — to create site-visit and meeting events on your authorized calendar.
  • contacts.readonly — one-time import of existing contacts, with your explicit consent.

How we use the data

Data received from Google APIs is used solely to power the features you have enabled inside ExeLoop. Specifically:

  • Emails are read and shown in your ExeLoop inbox.
  • Calendar events are read and synced with your pipeline activity.
  • Contacts are imported into your ExeLoop contacts (one-time, on your action).

Limited Use compliance

Per the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements, ExeLoop:

  • Does not use Gmail, Drive, or Calendar data for serving advertisements.
  • Does not transfer the data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the user-facing feature, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (with notice).
  • Does not allow humans to read the data unless we have your affirmative consent for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), or to comply with applicable law.
  • Uses the data only to provide the user-facing features described above.

How to revoke access

You can revoke ExeLoop's access to your Google account at any time:

  1. From inside ExeLoop: Workspace settings → Integrations → Google → Disconnect
  2. From Google directly: myaccount.google.com/permissions → ExeLoop → Remove access

Data deletion after revocation

When you revoke access (or delete your ExeLoop account), all Google-sourced data we cached for you is deleted within 30 days. See our data deletion policy.
